Ira Einhorn Trial Set

Ira Einhorn, the flamboyant poet-philosopher of the 1970s, who was an international fugitive for twenty years following the murder of his girlfriend, is to get a court-appointed lawyer for his trial because he says he is broke. Having lived over the years in England, Ireland, and Sweden under assumed names, Einhorn was convicted in absentia in 1993 and extradited by the French in 1993 only after the state of Pennsylvania agreed to a retrial.
